Q: Installation of R1800, R2400 Cartridge Lid (Prevent tubes from pinched by cartridge lid)?
*** This lid is only for R1800 and R2400, not for R800.
1. The following pictures show the solution to prevent tubes from pinched by R1800, R2400 cartridge lid.
2. Press the ink button. Let the print head moves to replacement position.
3. Lift up the cartridge lid.
4. Use a flat screw driver to push the left hand side print head where the the print head grips the lid. Hold the lid and try to pull it out gentally from left hand side.
5. Take out the right part of the lid.
6. Cartridge lid has been taken out, now print head is wide open.
7. Install InkRepublic R1800 Cartridge Lid. (Reverse the way you took out Epson's lid.)
8. Sometime, if you have difficulty to open up our cartridge lid, use a regular plier to assist you.
