Q: How to unclog a print head - For Stubborn Clogs (Installation of i-Remove cleaning kit)

1. Plugin power cord and turn the printer on.

2. Cartridge house moves to center automatically.

3. IMMEDIATELY pull the printer's AC power plug. This allows you to safely and freely slide the print head back and forth without damaging the printer.

4. Remove the cartridges you are havintg a problem with. Install the "cleaning damper" on top of clogged print head in the cartridge house.

5. Draw up 3ml of cleaning fluid into a syringe.

6. With the syringe facing upward, slowly squeeze the syringe plunger so that the cleaning fluid is pushed to the end, and any air is expelled.
Insert the syringe into the cleaning damper and slowly squeeze the plunger until it is empty. Don't force the plunger! If there is resistance, just let it set for a bit and try again.

7. Wait 60 minutes.
For "Stubborn" clogs, sometimes you need to wait more than 6 hours.

8. Gently remove the syringe from the cleaning damper, clean it off, and draw up another 2ml of cleaning fluid.

9. Repeat step 6.

10. Wait 20 minutes.

11. Slowly "eject" the syringe plunger and suck up the sediments out from nozzles.

12. Make sure you can see the air bubbles that were sucked up by syringe.

If you can see air bubbles, that means you have successfully unclog the blockages. Most nozzles are restored.

If not, clean the syringe and repeat step 5 to 12 untill you see the air bubble being drawn up from the syringe.

13. Lastly, clean the syringe and draw up 1ml of cleaning fluid into a syringe.

14. Repeat step 6.
Wait 20 minutes. (This time, do Not eject the syringe plunger this time and do not suck up the sediments)

15. Plug the printer back into the AC power cord and turn the printer on to let the cartridge house park to the right side. Run 3 printhead cleaning cycles. Print a nozzle check after each head cleaning. Do Not run more than 3 times cleaning cycles within an hour.

If you can obtain good nozzle, you have just removed the clogs successfully.
