InkRepublic.com - Review of InkRepublic R1800 i-INK2 CIS System

This is to let you know that I received and installed the InkRepublic CIS in one of my Epson R1800 this past weekend.
I am very impressed with the design and engineering that went into the development of your CIS.
The instructions provided were very thorough (130 pages), and installation process was very easy.
All the components (auto reset chip, dampers, etc.) fit perfectly.
I was also pleasantly surprised that the kit included a specially designed replacement ink chamber lid.
As, I was not aware that without this special replacement lid, it would be most difficult, if not impossible, to install any type of CIS into the R1800.
At least without performing some major surgery on the existing lid.
I've now been using your CIS for about 4 days, and printed a few dozen photos and artworks.
The ink is flowing smoothly and flawlessly from CIS to printer. I am very pleased with the quality of the prints that I've been getting.
Your system did away with the inconsistent ink flow problems that I've been encountering with the refillable cartridges
that I've been using. I've also learned that those generically produced refillable cartridges just don't have consistent quality.
I can also see the savings in ink wastage that will be incurred with your CIS, when I compare the differences in ink bottles levels for waste systems with my second Epson R1800 in which I'm still using the refillable cartridges.
Again, a great product with great customer service, equals a very happy customer.
