InkRepublic R1900 System:

Dear InkRepublic:
Below is the R1900 ink system I set up from what was shipped, as you can see it doesn't match the photo of the bridge on your web site. This set up is working just fine and we are getting fabulous prints and I think your reset button solution is perfect and works great.
InkRepublic R800 and R1800 System:
Jan 23rd, 2007
Dear InkRepublic:
I teach a digital photography program at Merritt Island High School and I have 130 photo students every day, five days a week. At present we are printing over 500 (8X10 prints) per month. We first converted the program from a film based program to a digital program; I quickly discovered that factory replacement ink cartridges were not going to work.
It seemed that you would have one day were a number of students had images with a high percentage of magenta and before you knew it I was out of ink. The cartridges were expensive and there is never the budget to keep a number of cartridges on the shelf. Not to mention, that the local ink supply stores were often out of the inks we needed. I felt I was on the printer roller coaster, one day we could print and the next day we couldn't.
My first printer was an Epson R2200; keeping up with cartridges was a nightmare. Then I ordered a bulk inking system that used a sponge cartridge. To make a long story short, the print head clogged up so badly, that the printer had to be discarded.
Then I purchased the R800, and experience told me that the replacement cartridges system was not the answer. Then I found your inking system and placed an order. Once your inking system was installed, I knew I had found the right solution. Great looking prints, and no more cartridges; plus the bulk inking system has been a tremendous savings. I estimate that one 4 oz. bottle of bulk ink is saving the program $100 over the equivalent cartridges, and that is for only one color! Thus, each full replacement order of bulk ink is saving over $800 in replacement cartridge costs. Based on the number of prints we are doing per year, I estimate we will save $3500 to 4000 per year in ink costs.
Our school is closed for summer, and following your directions I flushed the heads with the cleaning solution, rinsed all the feed cartridges and tubes in running water until clear. When the new school year started, I simply re-installed the bulking inking system with fresh ink. The printers have been running great all year.
Your great system has made our program viable, affordable, and eliminated numerous headaches. Printers are always ready, which means students are learning and excited about the world of digital photography. Without hesitation I would recommend your system to any professional, school, or service center that has a large volume of printing. Thank you for a splendid system and your great customer service.
Sincerely,
Mr. Leary
