Review of InkRepublic R3000 CIS System

InkRepublic. Thanks again for the prompt service and outstanding service you provided me. The R3000 ink system was a breeze to setup on this new printer and it prints great color photo's without any issues!!!!!! looking forward to getting a ton of pictures printed on this for Special Olympics Colorado. thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: April 18th, 2013

So I used the old r1900 ink overflow setup for the r3000. 2 nuts off the printer and the tubes inserted with no problem. Drilled hole in back of printer to feed lines thru and using a plastic tupperware container to catch the ink. That way I don’t have to be on the lookout all the time for filling the small waste ink bottles.

The ink placement for me was a little issue. If I put the ink at the same level of the cartridges, I was getting ink coming out of 2 of the fill holes on the cartridges. I think because of the 6000’ altitude here(pretty sure of that) so I lowered it a couple of inches and it resolved the issue.

I had a spare tube channel holder from the R1900 so I used that on the left side of the printer to keep the tubs out of the way along with using the one u sent.

Very pleased with this setup!
